Children are a gift from God
Here at Resurrection Life Church we endeavor to teach our children principles from the Word of God. They are taught on the level of their understanding – the simple truth they can use in their lives everyday. Teaching the beginnings of forming their own relationship with their Heavenly Father. Teaching the love of God that is forever with them.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (KJV)
We teach financial principles in our Bible Buck Program. A fun way they earn points and then learn how to shop with those points in a selection of items provided. Saving points is another way that we teach the children the value of having savings. The principle of not spending more than you have is another example.
Just as the daily things we as adults need to know to operate in our lives; we teach our children to begin practicing them now as a child. As they grasp the understanding they will grow up knowing how to use those principles as adults.
The children are taught stories from the Old and New Testament with discussions of how they apply to our lives today.
The Children’s program at Resurrection Life Church is open to children ages 4 thru 12.
We meet on Sunday mornings following praise and worship and Wednesday evenings.
It is our belief that God has a very special plan for each child’s life and that every child can find that special plan no matter how young or small. We consider it a privilege to be able to help them discover their place in the Kingdom of God.
Using Bible stories, prayer and sharing time together in fun and fellowship with others their age.
We hope that your child will join us as we seek to be all that God wants us to be!!!
As always, if you as a parent prefer to have your child/children remain in the sanctuary seated with you, we honor your decision.
We also have a Nursery provided for infants and toddlers.
